Healing Together — Building the First Animal-Assisted Rehabilitation Shelter

Imagine a place where recovery from addiction and the chance for a loving home meet under one roof. My idea is to launch a GoFundMe to raise seed money to break ground on the nation’s first combined dog-and-cat shelter built directly into a drug and alcohol rehabilitation center. This integrated model pairs people rebuilding their lives with animals who need care, creating mutual healing, practical skill-building, and stronger paths to long-term stability.
