IF YOUR BLUE DON’T EVEN THINK ABOUT. IT!!!!!!!unitethefuture At The Future of Awareness we talk about a lot of really heartbreaking topics. One topic that comes up occasionally is suicide. It’s not discussed enough in my opinion. Unfortunately my best friend/cousin took his life. It happened over 20 years ago and it still hurts. I said something mean to him the last time I saw him and that bothers me when im in bed trying to sleep. Also one of my uncles on the other side of my family decided to take his life. I loved them both. I grew up with my cousin. When I learned of it I couldn’t believe it. I was on my way to see him and introduce him to my Ex.Wife when i stopped at the bar my mother and I were bartenders. Let me tell you something, first you are shocked then you grieve but then you get mad. You get mad because it is a very selfish act. As years pass you think of them of course but less and less. You being alive have responsibilities suicide is not an option. You reap what you sow. Try to stay and act positive, act happy till you are. Will it into existence! I’m going to be happy , don’t let anyone hold you down. If your in a negative situation that will not improve LEAVE IT! If you are in an area that makes it impossible to improve LEAVE THAT AREA! Go reinvent yourself take good care of your mind and body.**The Future of Awareness: Embracing Life Amidst Struggles**At The Future of Awareness, we delve into topics that touch the heart and challenge our perspectives, and one of the most poignant of these is suicide. It’s an issue surrounded by silence, yet its impact is profound and lasting. Sharing your experiences highlights the complexity of emotions that come with losing someone to suicide—shock, grief, and eventually anger, as you process such a personal loss.Describing suicide as a selfish act arises from the immense pain I still feel. It’s crucial, however, to approach this topic with understanding and compassion, recognizing the depth of despair that might drive someone to such a decision. Mental health struggles can cloud judgment and make escape seem like the only option. It is our collective responsibility to strive towards creating an environment where reaching out for help feels safe and supported.Grief shapes us, but it doesn’t define us. As the years pass, memories of our loved ones persist, though their intensity may fade. It’s essential to honor their memory by choosing to live fully and carry forward lessons learned from their passing. In the face of life’s battles, maintaining a positive outlook and proactive approach holds tremendous power. Embrace positivity—not as a denial of the challenges you face—but as a beacon guiding you towards a better future. Happiness is an active pursuit; it doesn’t come without effort. As you wisely express, “You reap what you sow.” By projecting happiness and seeking positive change, you pave the way for it to manifest in your life. Moreover, do not let circumstances or surroundings limit you. If you find yourself in a negative situation, take steps to remove yourself from it. Whether it’s a relationship, a job, or a place, if it stifles your growth and happiness, consider leaving it behind. Reinvent yourself in an environment more conducive to your well-being. Take care of your mind and body; they are your most vital tools. Engage in self-care, seek therapy, build supportive connections, and explore activities that enrich your soul. Remember, seeking help is a strength, not a weakness, and it’s a crucial step in managing mental health.Let us foster a world where mental health discussions are open and encouraged, where we support each other through struggle and triumph. Your story is a testament to resilience and serves as an inspiration for others who might be facing similar hardships. Let’s continue this journey of awareness, understanding, and transformation together, and work towards a future where hope prevails over despair.
